After starting the week on a strong note, stocks closed out the week on a sour note with the S&P 500 falling 2.8%. Several rumors made their way around the Street despite the intense selling pressure. Below we highlighted a few:

Brookdale Senior Living (NYSE:BKD) jumped 20% today on word from Bloomberg News the company is exploring options including a potential sale. The company is said to be working with bankers.

Cano Health (NYSE:CANO) gained 9% on reports from Bloomberg that CVS Health (NYSE:CVS) is in exclusive talks to acquire the company. A deal between the two is not certain given Humana (NYSE:HUM) has a right of first refusal if a buyer is found.

DraftKings (NASDAQ:DKNG) gained 3% on reports the company is nearing a new, large partnership with Walt Disney Company’s (NYSE:DIS) ESPN.
